are there anything I should take note of when bring home a new baby parrot?

I will be bringing home my new baby parrot in about 3 weeks (he’s still weaning) are there anything I should know? about toys and perch placements (since he’s still a baby)
its a hybrid parrot. I asked a question regarding hybrids and some said they were bad but my uncle’s friend is a avian vet and said its not true. They are somewhat better at fighting off diseases adn such because of their different genes. It’s a senegal / red belly parrot hybrid.
